Paul Gosling: Playwright/Producer/Director, CHP.
Paul is an award-winning playwright and actor and is the author of MAGIC NUMBER SIX. A graduate of the University of Westminster's BA Hons in Media Studies, he specialised in writing and directing for video production. His final year project, the metafictional THE LIFE AND TIMES OF ARCHIE FLINT was narrated by Ed Asner (Lou Grant, The Bronx Zoo, Batman:The Animated Series, Up).
He worked in BBC Local radio as a CSV roving reporter, providing content for various shows as well as training packages, before going into teaching. Paul taught Art, Design and Media at a Secondary Special Needs School in Leicester for 20 years, before moving into a film and theatre production career.
He graduated from De Montfort University's MA in TV Scriptwriting, where he was mentored by John Yorke of the BBC's Writers' Academy. Paul went on to gain a PhD in screen adaptation, focusing on C.S. Lewis's cosmic trilogy.
In 2012, Paul formed his own independent production company to make films, promos and documentaries for DVD/Blu-ray and Internet release. He has now directed 8 music promos, 5 music documentaries and numerous online featurettes for music artists, including Steve Hackett and Yes.
Paul has taught on modules for Film Production and Scriptwriting at both De Montfort University and Leicester University.
Carolos Dandolo: Director, Creative Advisor.
Carolos is co-producer/director of Crooked Hand's roster of one act plays. Most recently he directed the hit show 8 DATES A WEEK and will be taking the helm of 1 MAN SHOW in 2020. An established actor on the local drama society scene in Leicester, he has directed various projects prior to his involvement in CHP. Carolos joined the ranks of background extras on SKYFALL where he gained an insight into the world of film-making with Sam Mendes making the cinema cut and then got edited out for the DVD release (!)
Carolos and Paul previously collaborated on various productions as part of a Performing Arts Team for young adults with learning difficulties. Having taught Drama and English in this sector for many years, he recently retired from teaching. He is also a life-long Spurs supporter.
