Crooked Hand Productions have presented a number of one-act plays for competition in the All-England One Act Festival, winning numerous nominations and winning three awards for acting and original writing. Productions include WALL No.4 (2014), THE FINAL PITCH (2015) and CANVAS No9 (2016) which we also performed twice in Leicester at The New Walk Museum and 9 times at The City Art Centre at the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2017 we performed MASSIVE No2 - a comedy set in an independent record label in 1986 - over three nights at The Leicester Comedy Festival, including a sold-out premiere at The Little Theatre. 2018 saw our show 5 REASONS WHY (I QUIT TEACHING) sell out almost all of our five nights at the Leicester Comedy Festival. At the 2019 festival we presented a romantic comedy with music entitled 8 DATES A WEEK and in 2020, ONE MAN SHOW* (Not a One man Show). 2021 saw a comedy adaptation of BaronesS Orczy's classic, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL and in 2022 the first of our Sherlock Holmes parodies - and our first full-length play - THE CASEBOOK OF DR WATSON.
